Only an hour and a half drive from Cape Town, these winelands incorporate over 250 years of winemaking knowledge to produce, amongst other cultivars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, and Columbar to national acclaim and account for producing close to 25% of South Africa’s total volume of wine and spirits, making it one of the most valuable winemaking areas in the country.
