Stellenbosch Wine Routes

Vredenheim wildlife and winery is a historic destination with diverse attractions that includes a collection of classic cars. Its manor house was built in 1789. Coen and Rikie Bezuidenhout acquired the property in 1986, after moving to the Cape from their game farm in KwaZulu-Natal. Their love of big game animals explains the presence of wildlife still on the farm. Today, it is owned by their children Basie and Elzabé, the latter laying claim to the title of first female winemaker on the Stellenbosch Wine Route.
