Merwida vineyards terroir is well suited for the production of superbly structured wines that takes advantage of the temperate climate - characterised by cold winters and warm summers. Light summer breezes ensure that the vineyards are gently ventilated; complementing the slow and balanced ripening process.
Our wine styles at Merwida are aimed at all markets. Clean, fruitful wines with a good shelf life. White and red wines are characterised by rich fruit and subtle spice flavours. The reds are deep coloured and complex with rounded tannins that enchance the drinkability.
