Busses Welcome

Langverwacht Cellar is a grower-member winery that produces mainly bulk wine. It is situated on the banks of the Boesmans River, an offshoot of the Breede, near the village of Bonnievale. The cellar was built to receive its first crop in 1956. In 2000, a new, fully automatic red wine fermentation cellar was added. Although a diverse variety of grapes are received – most of them white – Langverwacht has become well known for Chardonnay, Colombar and Shiraz. It also produces grape juice.
