Constantia Wine Route
Verreaux’s Eagles have nested on the Table Mountain Range since ancient times and it is from them that the original name is believed to have emerged. Eagle's Nest lies on the crest of Constantia Nek pass on the Cape Peninsula. As is the case with many farms in the area, the 38ha property was originally part of Groot Constantia. It was acquired by the Mylrea family in 1984 and converted to wine farming after a devastating mountain fire in 2000. Some 12ha are planted to vines.
