Lelienfontein, home of Bosman Family Vineyards, was originally issued to French Huguenot, Philip de Royan in 1699. The first generation of the Bosman family arrived on the farm in 1798 and they produced wine on the estate up until 1957, when focus shifted to its vine nursery – Lelienfontein Vine Growers. In 2007, 8th generation Petrus Bosman returned to the long-held family dream and released the first wines from its newly renovated, 260-year-old cellar. In addition to its own range of wines that includes a Chenin Blanc from the third oldest vineyard in the country, the enterprise is a leading producer of Fairtrade wine from South Africa.
White and Dessert Wines
Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Grenache Blanc, White Blend, Rosé, Methode Cap Classique
