The 227 ha Allesverloren has a long history with Shiraz and Portuguese grape varieties, although it has broadened its portfolio of late to include a Chenin Blanc too. The history of the farm dates to 1704 with the first grapes harvested in 1806. Some 140 years ago, it passed in to the hands of the Malan family and has remained there ever since. The current owner, Danie Malan, is the fifth generation on the Swartland estate.
