AA Badenhorst Family Wines

Description

AA Badenhorst Family Wines are made on Kalmoesfontein Farm in the Paardeberg area, it falls in Swartland appellation, between Wellington and Malmesbury. The 28ha of vineyards consists of old bush vines planted in the Siebritskloof part of the mountain.
The property is owned by the dynamic and goodlooking cousins Hein and Adi Badenhorst, both of them originally from Constantia.
The two of them have restored a neglected cellar on the farm that was last used in the 1930's to make natural wines in the traditional manner.

Accommodation

Description
The farm boasts 3 self-catering accommodation units. The Winemakers Cottage and Die Stalle offer two en-suite rooms each and sleeps 4 people each. The newly renovated Silo can accommodate two people in a double room.
