Lebohang Kganye Exhibition at Boschendal

Enjoy the latest exhibition by Lebohang Kganye at the Boschendal x Brundyn Gallery. The exhibition is titled “Mmoloki wa Mehopolo: Breaking Bread with a Wanderer”. It includes an exclusive preview of “The Sea is History”, featuring large-scale pop-up sculptures by the artist. The exhibition is open until the end of March, while the sculptures will remain on display until the end of the year.

Spier Light Art

This favourite, annual event at Spier Wine Farm has a little something for everyone. It’s an interactive, nocturnal adventure featuring experimental light, sound and video artworks from local and international artists. Spier Light Art is free to the public and no booking is required. All of the artworks are outside so the best time to visit is at dusk, when the sun goes down and the lights come up.

Reforest Fest 2024

Greenpop is hosting its annual restoration event in Stanford this upcoming Easter weekend. Reforest Fest is a transformative event that brings together people of all ages to immerse themselves in a harmonious blend of tree planting, wellness activities, unique food and wine experiences, and a celebration of nature. This eco-conscious festival is not only a gathering for personal well-being, but also a collective effort to rejuvenate the surrounding coastal thickets and afromontane forests.

Albert Frost Open Air Solo Concert

Head to Manley Wine Estate on 6 April for the Albert Frost Open Air Solo Concert. Get ready for an energetic performance by SAMA award winning blues/rock guitarist/singer Albert Frost, whom Miles Keylock from Rolling Stone described as “The dark prince of South African blues”. With great wine and great company, it’s going to be a night to remember.

Vintage with Love: A Lunch for Literacy at Waterford Estate

Join Waterford Estate and Vintage with Love for a delightful Lunch for Literacy event with exquisite food, fine wine, friends, thrift shopping, and a live fashion show featuring Habits & Therapy Boutique. Indulge in the finest second-hand fashion and spend a day reflecting, celebrating, and embracing our shared commitment to making the world a better place. Vintage with Love asks attendees to bring gently worn clothes for donation when attending. The organisation sells second-hand clothing to support literacy charities nationwide.

End of Summer Picnic with Carol Thorns at Mont Rochelle

Mont Rochelle is excited to have renowned cellist Carol Thorns perform live at their End of Summer Picnic. Carol is best known as ‘That Girl in The Bubble’ with her magnificent show-stopper act, which she will perform inside an architect-designed bubble on the lawns surrounded by the magnificent backdrop of the Cape Winelands.

Botriver Goes WILD

The free-spirited winemaking folk of Bot River invite friends and family (and fans) to join them in celebrating the 2024 harvest, good wines, and good people. The winemakers will also be presenting their latest (read: unfinished, unfiltered and somewhat uncultured) wines from the new 2024 vintage. After the tasting, they will move onto the stage, where they’ll be hosting a talent competition and auction. With a serious undertone, one of the main goals of this event is to raise funds for their local charity, the Bot River Education Foundation.

This remarkable underground exhibition at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West is a 24m long chamber, situated 5m beneath the surface. EARTHBOX invites visitors to slow down and connect with the earth in a tangible, meaningful way. The absence of sunlight and sound in the chamber enhances this experience, encouraging visitors to be fully present and engaged. An immersive experience, EARTHBOX hosts yoga and meditation sessions, musical events, and more.

Awaken your Inner Artist in the Babylonstoren Garden

Inspire creativity by discovering the botanical wonders of the Babylonstoren Garden in their sketching workshops taking place this autumn. Join master gardener Gundula Deutschländer as she guides guests, young and old, down pathways focusing on various natural forms that inspire closer observation. The aim of these sessions is to have fun on the journey of finding your personal expression. The workshops include all paper and materials needed.
