Stark-Condé Wines

Description

Stark-Condé is a family-run winery in the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. Self-taught cellar-master José Conde started making wine on the property on 1998, beginning with a few barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon. Production has gradually grown to include other varietals, but all wines are still made using traditional methods.
In 2017, José appointed Rudger van Wyk as winemaker. Rudger studied oenology at Stellenbosch University, and is a graduate of the prestigious Cape Winemaker's Guild Protégé program. In 2018, Rudger was the winner of the Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year award.
