Namaqua Wines is situated almost 300km from Cape Town, on the West Coast of South Africa. This terrain provides perfect weather conditions with our African sunshine, cool Atlantic Ocean breezes and rich soil for the grapes to flourish. Namaqua Wines began in 1947 with a few talented and passionate winemakers who took a calculated risk and started one of the first wineries in the area. Our winemakers are committed to producing excellent wines while taking care of the sensitive Namaqualand ecosystem. We have won several prestigious wine awards while ensuring wine for generations to come.
The winery's visitor centre is Die Keldery and includes a restaurant serving traditional dishes, and pairings along with its wines.
