This partnership has resulted in the establishment of two highly regarded wineries in South Africa: Mullineux in the Swartland and Leeu Passant in Franschhoek. Since its inception in 2007, the Mullineux winery has been dedicated to creating exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Swartland region. Their commitment to sustainable farming practices and minimalist winemaking has garnered numerous accolades, including being named South African Winery of the Year five times by Platter’s Guide.
In 2013, the formation of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines marked the beginning of a new chapter with the creation of Leeu Passant. Situated on the picturesque Leeu Estates, this winery celebrates South Africa's rich vinous heritage by working with some of the oldest and most interesting vineyards in the Cape.
