Klein Goederust winery came about in 1905. In 2019 the Siguqa family acquired the property and so began their own winemaking journey, inspired by the family matriarch Nomaroma Siguqa, a lifelong Cape wine farm labourer. Klein Goederust Wines is the first and only 100% black owned winery in the Franschhoek wine valley.
