Visit Winelands

Having kicked off two weeks later than usual, the 2021 harvest is proving that slow and steady does indeed win the race. This year's wine harvest took its time, but it was worth the wait. Consistently mild weather led to slower ripening but had some pleasant side effects in terms of vine growth, bunch numbers, and berry size.

You can read all about what to expect from this year's yield in the Annual South African Wine Harvest Report which you can download here.

While the winemaking is just beginning, we're taking a minute to celebrate the long hours and hard work that goes into a harvest season.
