Walker Bay Estate was founded in 2003 with the planting of our first grape vines. Since then the estate has grown into a fully functioning vineyard and winery, including sate-of-the-art winery equipment to ensure our winemaker can produce the best wines possible. The Estate is situated in Stanford, 9 kilometers form the Atlantic ocean. 22 Hectares of our 300ha farm are planted under vines with a large area of the farm protected under Cape nature, which includes a Milkwood forest. Walker Bay Estate is also home to Birkenhead Brewery, the second oldest micro brewery in South Africa.
